Accessibility & Safeguarding

Accessibility

We have tried to cater for both d/Deaf visitors to this website, and those with visual impairments, by offering videos with the options of subtitling, and transcripts of the introductions, alongside audio podcasts where available.

If d/Deaf poets would like to see copies of individual poems read by our poets on the video, please email us through the contact section stating the name of the poet whose work you would like to see, and we will ask them if they can email you a text copy directly.

If there are any other ways in which we can support your access requirements please let us know through the contact box and we will do our best to help.

Safeguarding

We are aware that some of the subjects addressed may be challenging for some people, but try and ensure that they are presented in a way that protects the audience, and explains the context.

The Mind website offers links to a wide range of helplines and organisations able to offer support and advice.

If you think we can improve our safeguarding, please be in touch to let us know your suggestions  through the contact box.
